「聖母の御子」というカタロニア民謡から。セゴビアの名演奏を耳コピして作った。写真は、なるたけ歌詞の内容と引っ付きすぎないように選んだが、母子像がいくつか入ってくるのは仕方あるまい。おもにPixaBayというフリー写真素材のサイトから。中で、下の写真には心を動かされた。
久しぶりに写真を見て涙が出た。複雑な写真ではない。この子は、本来ならば、この洋服を着て、この帽子と風船で、自分の家で誕生日を祝うはずだったのだ。この子とカメラマンがどういう意図でこの写真を撮ったのかわからないが、この子が失ったものの大きさと、子供の本然的な楽天性というか、回復する力も感じたし・・・あるいは、強がってこういうポーズをとっているのか、本当に束の間、楽しい気分になれたのか？とか・・・いろいろ考えさせられた。そして、一番愕然とするのは、「この子が今生きているかどうかもわからない、」いう現実の残酷さである。
